Catching up on happenings in my life, Jacob decided to chew up my Zune a few months ago.

It continued to operate for some time after that, albeit with about half the screen being completely unreadable.  It now refuses to power on.

Well, I've finally decided that it's time for me to start blogging again...and regularly.  I have so much to talk about, so I may as well start, right?

I'll use this entry to give a brief summary of what's been going on lately.  I've been snowboarding nearly every weekend since the season started.  Unfortunately, I've sustained a few injuries, but only one was serious enough to incur a visit to my doctor (who told me, "I'm not going to tell you not to snowboard, but don't reinjure yourself").  That injury involved my tailbone being the contact point between my flying body and a very large chunk of ice.  Suffice it to say that I now get a little paranoid anytime I go near anything that looks like the remnants of a small avalanche.
