Well, I've finally decided that it's time for me to start blogging again...and regularly. I have so much to talk about, so I may as well start, right?
I'll use this entry to give a brief summary of what's been going on lately. I've been snowboarding nearly every weekend since the season started. Unfortunately, I've sustained a few injuries, but only one was serious enough to incur a visit to my doctor (who told me, "I'm not going to tell you not to snowboard, but don't reinjure yourself"). That injury involved my tailbone being the contact point between my flying body and a very large chunk of ice. Suffice it to say that I now get a little paranoid anytime I go near anything that looks like the remnants of a small avalanche. More...

This morning, I awoke to about an inch of snow outside my door. Some areas got as much as six inches overnight. Once I managed to get my vehicle to stop sliding sideways and start moving forward, I took the amazingly traffic-light freeway to work, achieving a less-than-15-minute commute followed by another sliding sideways adventure in the nearly-empty parking lot at work. My vehicle is now safely parked, and hopefully, the parking lot will be much less slick by the time I leave work.
It's supposed to snow/rain all week and next weekend, which is a good thing, 'cause I might go snowboarding again on Saturday or Sunday, and it's always much more fun with fresh snow (especially when it's fresh on every run...heh).
