Data is read based on pit interference at 1/4 of the laser wavelength, a distance of much less than 165 nanometers. A bit of dye that on average is more than 3 million times farther away is not going to affect anything.

My first comment. Found your blog a couple of times inadvertently. Yours is one of those blogs I could start reading and not know when to stop.

Every year we get the worst storms that are so strong that our trees crash down on top of things. When this does happen I usually search for a website of a tree service company in my area to come and do the job.I remember one year when there were two trees that fell on the same car in my driveway. I am lucky as I have found a local A couple businesses that do a wonderful job at tree cutting trimming, stump grinding , etc.
