After using SubText for quite a long time, I have decided to transition over to BlogEngine.NET as my blogging engine. Why? Well, it's a lot simpler to administer, has a very lengthy list of extensions available for it, allows co-comments (comments on comments), and it seems to be more versatile than SubText. I still believe that SubText is a great product, but my needs stipulate that BlogEngine.NET is the one to go with, 'cause while I could make the necessary modifications to SubText to do what I want, I prefer to go with something that's already built.
Over the next few weeks, I will be migrating my old blog entries over to the new engine. I'm gonna try to keep the same URLs and import as much as possible, so that should make for a decent transition.
